Daniel Klein
Managing Partner
Daniel is a hands-on expert in Direct Investing Private Equity with an international client base. He has over 10 years of experience in multiple Boards for his clients' private equity investments. Daniel loves to support both shareholders and management teams to bring companies to full potential. In Boards, his focus is usually on strategy, finance, M&A and fund raising. Beyond shareholder representation, he is supporting clients in assessing new and existing investments with long-standing transaction experience.
Previously Daniel was Managing Director of a Single Family Office focused on private markets, for 5 years, gaining transaction and value creation experience in private companies. Before that he worked 5 years at Bain & Company, the strategy consultancy, primarily in the Bain Private Equity Practice. Daniel holds an MBA from INSEAD (with distinction) and a Master of Science in Management from London School of Economics.
Dr. Johannes Trissler
Managing Partner
Johannes is an entrepreneur at heart with serial-founder experience to his name. He has been active in private equity direct investments for 10+ years. He approaches advisory from an owners perspective, taking full responsibility along the whole value chain of the investment lifecycle. Johannes is a trusted advisor to family offices and UHNWIs: sharing experiences, advising on transactions, ideating strategy and co-investing together. His interests range from investments in health-tech to legal-tech and beyond, engagements in design and the arts to advisory positions with market leading businesses as well as charitable organizations.
Johannes background is with Bain & Company in their Private Equity Group, alongside operationally supporting the expansion of his family business up until exit. Johannes holds a Ph.D. in law from University of Münster and University of Cambridge on family foundations, as well as a J.D. from Bucerius Law School.
Fabian Brugger
Partner
Fabian joined Klein & Partners in 2020. Previously he was a Senior Manager at a top-tier strategy consultancy with 12+ years of experience. Fabian has strong expertise in value creation through strategy, performance improvement, M&A and change management, with on-the-ground experience in Europe, Africa and Asia. Fabian is particularly passionate about complex projects that can unlock tangible value for businesses and working together with investors, Boards and C-level executives.
Fabian has worked 9 years at Bain & Company as a leader in the Private Equity Group, Strategy and Performance Improvement practices. Before that, Fabian has worked 3 years in Paris as an IT strategy consultant. Fabian holds an MBA from INSEAD and a Master of Science in Electrical Engineering from ETH Zurich.
